田兴，北京大学物理学学士，美国马里兰大学神经与认知科学博士。现任上海纽约大学神经与认知科学研究员、纽约大学全球网络教授、博导。田兴教授研究领域为认知神经科学，采用电生理学（脑磁图、脑电图、颅内脑电）和神经影像学（功能磁共振成像）等技术手段结合行为测量和计算建模，研究言语和语言、运动感觉整合、以及记忆、想象等人类高级认知功能。已在认知神经科学领域的专业杂志上发表SCI论文五十余篇，其中包括Nature Human Behaviour, Nature Neuroscience, Current Biology, PLOS Biology，Psychological Science等国际高水平期刊，担任eLife、Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience、《心理科学进展》等学术期刊编委，入选国家级人才计划。

Xing Tian is an Associate Professor of Neural and Cognitive Sciences at NYU Shanghai and a Global Network Associate Professor for the Center for Neural Science at NYU. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a BS in Physics from Peking University. Professor Tian’s research interests are in the areas of human cognitive neuroscience. More specifically, his research focuses on how the interaction between action and perception underlies speech, language, memory and other higher-level cognition. He uses behavioral, computational, electrophysiological (EEG, MEG, iEEG), and neuroimaging (fMRI) methods to investigate the neural mechanisms that mediate human cognition. His work has been published in Nature Human Behaviour, Nature Neuroscience, Current Biology, PLOS Biology, and Psychological Science, and serves as editor in eLife, Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience, and Advances in Psychological Science. He has been selected for the National-level talent program.
