HU Li


Li HU is a professor at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2010, and he has been a principal investigator at the Institute of Psychology (CAS) since 2016. Professor Li Hu’s research is focused on the cognitive neuroscience of pain, with a particular emphasis on understanding the psycho-physiological mechanisms of pain and analgesia. Over the past five years, his research has concentrated on exploring cognitive and neural mechanisms of pain information processing, developing objective pain measurements, and investigating the pathophysiology of chronic pain. Professor Li Hu has successfully led several research projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). To date, he has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals, establishing himself as an expert in the field of pain research.
