JI Linqin



Linqin JI, PhD & professor of psychology (developmental), and Director of the Student Development and Mental Health Center at Shandong Normal University.

Dr. Ji is the Awardee of the National Young Scholars Program, Shandong Taishan Young Scholar, and the Shandong Provincial New Talent Award in Social Sciences. Dr. Ji serves as the Deputy Director of the Developmental Psychology Division, and Committee Member of the Division of School Bullying and Violence Prevention, of Chinese Psychological Society; Executive Council Member of the School Psychology Division, Chinese Society of Education; Member of the Behavioral Health Division, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association.

Dr. Ji’s research focuses on school bullying prevention & intervention, children’s and adolescent emotional and behavioral problems, and peer and family context of child and adolescent development. Dr. Ji is leading the ongoing Multi-cohort Longitudinal Study of Chinese Children and Adolescents (McLSCCA), and Co-investigator of the Longitudinal Study on Chinese Children and Adolescents (LSCCA) and the 3-Healthy Antibullying Program, and the PI of 10 national and provincial-level research projects, including projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Science and Technology Innovation 2030 - Brain Science and Brain-Inspired Intelligence Research. Dr. Ji published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles in journals, including Journal of Youth and AdolescenceJournal of Abnormal Child Psychology, Child Development, Journal of Educational Psychology, International Journal of Behavioral Development, School Mental Health, Journal of Family Psychology, and Acta Psychologica Sinica.
