Dr. TAO Sha is a full professor at the National Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, School of Psychology, Beijing Normal University. She serves as the vice president of China Psychological Society, the division director of Developmental Psychology, the deputy division director of Adolescent Reading Promotion, the Chinese Society of Education. She also serves as the associate-chief editor of Journal of Psychological Science (in Chinese) and of Life-span Development & Mental Health, also on editorial board of Journal of Clinical Psychology (in Chinese), and Reading and Writing. 

Dr. TAO's research covers child cognitive development and language learning, learning difficulties, child brain development and school functions. She has been supported by Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Natural Science Foundation, National Philosophy and Social Science Foundation, Ministry of Education, and Beijing Science and Technology Commission. She has published 4 books and more than 100 papers on peer-reviewed journals. She won research and teaching prizes, including Excellent Book Award from National Press and Publication Administration, Outstanding Research Awards from Beijing government, Excellent Graduate Student Mentor, Model Teacher, Excellent Freshmen Mentor.
