
Li ZHAO, Ph.D. & Professor, has been honored as a Distinguished Changjiang Scholar and a Young Changjiang Scholar by the Ministry of Education, China. She has also served as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and the University of California, San Diego. Currently, Professor Zhao is the Vice Dean of the Jing Hengyi School of Education at Hangzhou Normal University. She leads the First-Class Discipline in Psychology and the National First-Class Undergraduate Program in Applied Psychology. Additionally, she serves as the Chief Expert and Director of the Zhejiang Philosophy and Social Science Laboratory (Laboratory for Research in Early Development and Childcare, Hangzhou Normal University). Her research primarily focuses on the development of honesty and cheating behaviors in children and adolescents, as well as the underlying mechanisms. She is committed to integrating behavioral methodologies with big data analysis and artificial intelligence technologies to advance the understanding of honesty development and provide scientific support for related educational practices. She has led multiple national-level projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Foundation of China, and the Major Project of Philosophy and Social Science Research of the Ministry of Education of China. She has published extensively in prestigious SSCI and CSSCI journals as the first or corresponding author, including Nature Human Behaviour, PNAS, Psychological Science, Child Development, Educational Research Review, Review of Educational Research, Educational Psychology Review, Developmental Science, Cognition, Acta Psychologica Sinica, and others, with over 60 publications. She has also published three academic monographs. Additionally, she has received several provincial and ministerial-level awards as the principal recipient, including the First Prize of the Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences), the Third Prize of the National Education Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award, as well as the First Prize (twice) and Second Prize of the Zhejiang Province Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award.
