
Dr. Lihong CHEN is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Dean of the Institute of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Liaoning Normal University. She has been selected as a Liaoning Revitalization Talent. She is currently a member of the Cognitive and Brain Regulation Committee of the Chinese Society for Cognitive Science, as well as a member of the Specialist Committee on General and Experimental Psychology and the Working Committee on Young Professionals of the Chinese Psychological Society. Her research focuses on visual perception and consciousness, integrating psychophysical methods, functional brain imaging, and noninvasive neuromodulation techniques to systematically investigate the mechanisms underlying visual illusions, the modulation of visual perception by emotion, and the interactions between visual perception and action. She has served as Principal Investigator for multiple research grants, including programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), as well as provincial and ministerial-level projects. She has published over twenty SCI/SSCI papers as first or corresponding author in journals such as Cognition, iScience, Cerebral Cortex, and Neuroscience Bulletin.
