The editorial office of Psychological Science has always been committed to pursuing excellence in academic services. To provide a better submission and review experience for authors and readers, we have recently completed a comprehensive upgrade of our manuscript editorial system and official website.
We have launched a new domain name: jps.ecnu.edu.cn. This change not only enables users to access the system via secure links, ensuring data communication security and passing browser security checks, but also resolves previous access issues within some universities. The new domain name removes barriers to access, ensuring smooth and secure communication for all users.
The upgraded editorial system features a refreshed, clean, and intuitive interface, along with optimized submission and review workflows. This significantly enhances user experience, making operations such as manuscript submission and progress queries more efficient and convenient.
A key highlight of the new system is its more transparent manuscript status tracking function. Authors can now monitor review progress in real time, facilitating smoother communication with the editorial office and reviewers. This allows authors to stay updated on their manuscript’s status, fully understand review comments, and collaborate more effectively with us to improve manuscript quality.
We understand the critical importance of time for researchers. Through workflow optimization and improved control algorithms, the upgraded system will significantly enhance review efficiency. Additionally, the editorial office will implement measures to encourage reviewers to participate actively, further speeding up the review process.
The process from acceptance to publication has been greatly streamlined, ensuring faster dissemination of research outcomes. The editorial office has already processed the backlog of accepted manuscripts, and all accepted articles will be published in the shortest possible time. Furthermore, we will implement online first publication: manuscripts that have completed proofreading will be published online on CNKI starting from December, without waiting for the traditional print publication process.

1. The content of the Self-Check Report was updated on October 24, 2024. Please download the latest version from the website before submission.
2. Ethical review reports (which contain author information) must be compressed and uploaded together with the Copyright Transfer Agreement. Do not upload them with the main text or as separate attachments.
